Sumjho — Licence & Terms of Use

1. THE POEMS — PUBLIC DOMAIN
   The original poems (Urdu and the poets' other languages) are in the public
   domain. Muhammad Iqbal died in 1938; his works are public domain worldwide.
   Sumjho claims no rights over the original poems.

2. THE SUMJHO COMPILATION — © Sumjho, a Digable Ltd project
   All rights in the curated work are owned by Digable Ltd (a company registered
   in the United Kingdom), which operates the Sumjho project. The curated work
   is everything Sumjho adds around the poems:
     • the selection and arrangement of poems
     • transliterations
     • English translations and glosses
     • line-by-line alignment between scripts and translations
     • provenance, metadata, and editorial notes

3. PERMITTED — personal, family, and educational use
   You may freely read, listen to, print, quote, and share individual poems and
   Sumjho's translations, with attribution to Sumjho.

4. NOT PERMITTED without written permission from Digable Ltd
     • bulk extraction, scraping, or programmatic harvesting of the curated
       dataset (translations, transliterations, alignment, metadata), in whole
       or in part
     • commercial redistribution of the compilation
     • training machine-learning models on, or building derivative datasets
       from, the curated work

5. AUDIO
   Audio recitations are the work of the late reciter and remain the rights of
   his estate and/or the institutions that hold them. Sumjho presents them in
   good faith for non-commercial heritage and educational access, and is seeking
   formal permission. They are not covered by the permissions above — please do
